This is the new direction for OPEN
The first bike to launch out of Open’s new model range is a very special one. The U.P.PER. CONCE.PT which will be made in only 2 sizes (Medium and Large) in very limited quantities (125 per size in a nod to the OPEN 12.5 celebration). The U.P.PER. CONCE.PT molds will then be retired, so no more of these concept frames will ever be produced again.
About U.P.PER CONCE.PT 2025
There’s a big reason it’s a CONCE.PT and not a CONCEPT. The PT part stands for that fact that this will be the first of Open’s frames made by Carbon Team in Portugal. Carbon Team is a collaboration between several experienced parties in the bike industry, including the carbon wizards at Bike Ahead (you may know their 6-spoke wheels which Open has featured in past Blogs.
At Carbon Team, Open can achieve frame production at the highest level, close to some of Open’s biggest markets in Europe and also close to some of the best custom painters.
U.P.PER. CONCE.PT CHASSIS 2025
The first of a new wave of OPEN frames, the U.P.PER. CONCE.PT shows our new direction. The focus remains on comfort, with aerodynamic features where they matter and do not interfere with that comfort.
The U.P.PER. CONCE.PT. is paired down to the essence for the purest riding experience. It’s only available in sizes M & L. The regular U.P. and U.P.PER. will be available in five sizes.
Finish options are carbon black with a protective clearcoat and OPEN logos or Raw Ready-to-paint for those wishing a custom paint project.
The CHASSIS includes frame, fork, seat post and integrated one-piece bar/stem. Handlebar sizes and stem sizes are confirmed on order.
